Jazzy Jordan James “Jazzy” Jordan (born December 7, 1949) is an American record executive, songwriter, composer and record producer who was instrumental in the careers of varied musical acts including DJ Jazzy Jeff and The Fresh Prince, Kool Moe Dee, Salt N' Pepa, PM Dawn, Will Downing, Joe, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, John P. Kee, and Kirk Franklin. He currently serves as the Executive Vice President (EVP) and General Manager (GM) of Verity Gospel Music Group (VGMG), a division of Sony Music Entertainment, INC. Based in New York, with offices in Nashville, Tennessee, Verity Gospel Music Group is the largest gospel music company in the U.S. , with a roster consisting of multi-platinum award winning artists such as Kirk Franklin, Marvin Sapp, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker, Donald Lawrence, Richard Smallwood, Kurt Carr, 21:03, Byron Cage, John P. Kee, J. Moss, Crystal Aikin, DeWayne Woods, and Deitrick Haddon.
